About MOROKON

Where tradition meets timeless interior design

MOROKON emerged from a passion for authentic Moroccan craftsmanship and the belief that a rug can be much more than just a piece of furniture.

While many products today are industrially manufactured, our rugs are still made by the hands of experienced artisans in Morocco. Every fiber, every pattern, and every detail tells a story of tradition, culture, and centuries-old knowledge.

A passion that started at home

When I furnished my own apartment with Moroccan rugs, I repeatedly got the same question:

"Where did you buy that rug?"

From this question, MOROKON was born.

Between Morocco and Germany

I was born in Morocco and have lived in Germany for over 20 years. To this day, I travel regularly to Morocco and maintain close relationships with the regions from which our rugs originate – especially the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara.

These experiences now form the foundation of MOROKON.

The art of true craftsmanship

Many of Morocco's most famous rugs are still woven by Berber families in small villages. The patterns are passed down from generation to generation and reflect the culture and identity of their region of origin.

Every rug bears the signature of its creator.

Our philosophy

MOROKON stands for genuine craftsmanship, natural materials, and timeless design. We want to offer pieces that have character, tell stories, and enrich living spaces with warmth and authenticity.

Welcome to the world of MOROKON

Every rug tells a story – a story of craftsmanship, tradition, and the people who created it.

We invite you to discover this story with us.
